Sonic Adventure

Sonic Adventure is a transitional game for the series. It has to take the job of translating a 2D side scrolling game into a 3D free-roaming platforming game, ensuring that it is enjoyable to play while not losing made the previous games' sense of speed. Whether it holds up well is a conversation that's been well had, and I'm of the opinion that SA1 holds up mostly well nowadays.
